Top Picks - Outer Space & Astronauts Birthday Theme

We are yet to come across any kid between 4-8 years who does not want to become an astronaut. Well didn’t we when we were their age? Hence Momsters thought of having “Outer Space & Astronauts” as the birthday party theme for this month. We did a little bit of research & compiled a guide to help mommies & daddies put together a fun & entertaining party for your not-so-little-one.

Here is Momsters’ top 10 pick for an out of the world “Outer Space & Astronauts” party:

  • We loved the planets at Hip hip hooray, handmade out of paper lanterns which were wrapped with tissue paper – such a great idea... isn't it?
  • The party ideas at The Cake Blog look like a real show stopper  with a modern color scheme, oodles of creative details and a beautiful table of solar snacks, this party is perfect for little astronauts. The cake sure is the highlight for us, what do you think?

  • Momsters highly recommends lots of fun activities at birthday parties & Life Frosting ensures the party is full of them. Which kid wouldn't like these?

  • Mommies & Daddies looking for some excellent “Outer Space & Astronauts” party snack ideas, have a look at Birthday blast off space. The cleverly themed desserts like the Milky Way Shakes, Cornflake Meteorites, Moon Pies, Donut Shuttles, etc. look fabulous and absolutely in sync with the theme.

  • Pat and melody has excellent ideas for some astronaut fun with Comet Craft Corner, Moon Dough, Rockets launchers, UFOs to run around with, bubbles to blow and space themed coloring pages.
  • The Pin-the-tail-on-the-Donkey-esque Rocket game from Sweet Rose Studio is bound to raise the fun element as guests try to stick their name on the windows of the rocket.
  • Momsters found the “Space Packs” at Sweet Boochie an absolute delight. How about adding this to your kid’s “Outer Space & Astronauts” party?

  • Buzz light year has to be on the list of our top 10. Our favorite details were the Shooting Star cupcakes, hanging stars which are simple and economical, Also included in the display were Milky Way Mini Cheesecakes, Spaceship Cookies, Moon Pies, Power Surge Apples, and Crystal Fusion Juice.

  • We love the ideas of DIY & printables. How about making a Rocket party favours with tips from Amanda Parker
