Yummy Brownies with Your Preschoolers

Momsters love spending time with their kids, weekends mean fun time with them. This weekend we spent baking some totally Scrumptious brownies with my 4 year old. Zefan loves baking, and I just love the look on his face when he sees the final product.
Here is what You Need:
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 cups of castor sugar
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Essence
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2/3 cup Coco Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup flour
  • 1 cup Walnuts (optional)

This is what you do:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees while you prepare the Mix.
  • Mix oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla essence till they are well blended.
  • Mix all the other dry ingredients (except sugar) together in a separate bowl.

  • Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture.
  • Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish or pan.

  • Bake for about 30 minutes or until the Brownies start to separate from the edges of the baking dish.
  • Let the brownies cool and serve.
I loved the brownie as much as Zefan, so we had a totally happy-happy Saturday, where mommy-sonny bonded over some yummy brownie. He sure does get some extra brownie points for this one.
