Oh Help... Oh No... It's The Gruffalo Theme Party (Top Picks)

He has terrible tusks, and terrible claws, and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws. He’s the Gruffalo! Gruffalo! Gruffalo! He has knobbly knees and turned-out toes, and a poisonous wart at the end of his nose. He’s the Gruffalo! Gruffalo! Gruffalo! His eyes are orange, his tongue is black, He has purple prickles all over his back. He’s the Gruffalo! Gruffalo! Gruffalo! He’s the GRRRRRRRRR………Gruffalo!
Finally Finally Finally… the birthday party theme of the month is based on my (and everyone who reads it) favourite character if you haven’t guessed it still … He’s the Gruffalo! It sure is not an easy theme to come up with... but if you're creative, it is sure to be fun. It is a perfect theme for your little on between the ages of 2 - 8 years.

  • Baby Bites had a lovely menu and beautiful cake, but what immediately caught our attention was the Jungle backdrop. You don’t need to be a Picasso to draw that on your own. Just go with the flow and have a blast with your child as you prepare the backdrop.

  • Games increase the fun quotient of any party and this "Stick the Wart on the Gruffalo's Nose" game is a sure hit. Besides all you need is a picture of the Gruffalo’s face and some small green dots… and Voila your game is set.

  • Brownie bakes showed us just how creative you can get as far as the Gruffalo food is concerned. Be it their Scrambled Snake (Popcorn in Green themed boxes), Purple Prickle Jelly, Poisonous Warts, Cupcakes, Watered down Gruffalo Juice (apple juice) and the water bottles with Gruffalo stickers.

And when you’re doing a Gruffalo themed party, do not forget to incorporate a Story Session as well… People in Bangalore can call me (My Little Chatterbox), and I’ll be happy to share Gruffalo with the kids.
