Moong dal khichdi (Weaning)

Age: 5 Months+

Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon split yellow moong dal
  • 1 tablespoon rice
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)
  • ½ teaspoon ghee / butter
 Procedure:
  • Wash and soak the moong dal & rice together.
  • Add the turmeric powder and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
  • Remove from pressure cooker and add the ghee. Mix well.
  • Mash the khichdi completely to a smooth consistency. 
  • Serve lukewarm. 
With Vegetables - Add 1 tablespoon bottle (lauki) , peeled & grated & 2 tablespoon carrot peeled & grated.
Non Vegetarian option - you can add very small pieces of boneless chicken to kids 8 months+
