First milestones of the baby are always so special. The same was with us when it came to Anuttara's first hair cut. I'm so happy that I gave it the time I did. Luckily for me my friend started an innovative kids salon/lounge 'Divas & Dudes'.

It's a unisex salon for kids. One floor is dedicated for hair cuts, hair styling, small boutique space. it also has a tea party room where they can have a princess party. Another floor is dedicated for hair washes, pedicure, manicure, nail painting, safe waxing and so on. Every product they use is kid friendly. They also have a party hall as they conduct a lot of theme based birthday parties.

Our Experience: manna and me went over in the morning once she was done with her short nap. I was a little concerned as she never allows any stranger to even touch her hand forget the hair. We got to the salon n Anuttara was asked to choose a seat which she would want her hair cut in. Instead of basic revolving chair they have a car, jeep, bike seats. She chose the jeep. Jeep kept her so busy with it's movable door, steering wheel and in the front was a big mirror with a small  TV mounted to keep them occupied with some entertaining cartoons etc. (I had carried my iPad coz I wasn't sure if she would be distracted enough :p).

Kalaam who did her hair cut was so calm and when she did get a little irritated they would distract and entertain her. Her hair was cut in a time frame of about half an hour. Once done with the cut she was treated with some heart shaped jelly which eventually ended up in my stomach, it was yummy nevertheless.

Interesting look outs:

• They have a small ceiling toy train which goes round n round
• The cute little tea party table, chairs and the cup cake holder
• Gaming section
• The Fundu haircut seats (car, jeep n the bikes)
• They also give you a certificate to mark the first time haircut experience.

Mommies can indulge in some hair wash and massage when your baby is done with her pampering.
