If you have a child between 0-3 years who does not know what The Very Hungry Caterpillar looks like, you and the baby are missing out on something big. Children love bright colours, big pictures, few words and a counting game. The Very Hungry Caterpillar fills their little world with all this and much more. Birthdays are also huge in a child's life, maybe not so much for very young children... but for their parents it is a big deal. Why not make your child's birthday special with the very Hungry Caterpillar theme.
Momster's top 10 picks of
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Theme Party!
- Project Nursery takes you through their 2 year old boy's themed party. Momsters love the tissue fans on top of the bright green polka dot background (depicts the theme wonderfully well)
- The Party Wagon showcases the party of a 1 year old. Love the burst of colours, love the way they have incorporated the story into the menu, the dirt jar is adorable. My favorite has to be the cupcakes, they look so bright, so colourful and so delicious.
- Calm Delight says she had a lot of fun planning their 1 year old's birthday party I absolutely adore these bottles with customized labels, such a nice way to quench your thirst.
- Polka Dots & Puppies celebrated her son Grant's birthday based on the theme because her little one loves the book. The way she has incorporated polka dots (which is an integral part of the book) is awesom. My vote goes to the 'Make Your Own Caterpillar' activity, kids are sure to love it.
- Little Sooti shares some nice ideas as well, these cookies and cake pops look like they will be a sure shot hit with the kids (adults in the party won't complain either)
- Check out The Mom Tog Diaries to see how the theme was used for Ella's 3rd Birthday Party. Don't miss the birthday girl's dress, I love it. The light minimalistic background makes everything look so colourful and bright.
- Martha Sachser Photography clicked these amazing shots at a TVHC themed party the result is for you to see. Don't these whole fruits kept in glasses looking amazing.
- bachmanville shares their daughter's 1st birthday details. This has to be the most creatively incorporated theme. I think the basket full of antennae for people to wear is so creative and so adorable.
- The Nashville Fork tells you about the food themed, Hungry Caterpillar Party, no points for guessing my favorite is caterpillar featuring the birthday boy's photos, and bug boxes kept above it which were used for return gifts.
- Everything by twos: You can say I saved the best for the last, nothing can match an outdoor birthday party. Love the way the outdoor have become even more lively & bright with the theme. The caterpillar food (which was given to guests at arrival) get extra points from Momsters.
