Have a Seusstatic Day with our September Theme

‘Today is your day… your mountain is waiting.  So… get on your way.”

Dr. Seuss is one of Zoe’s favorite, like Zoe I used to love Seuss as a kid…. Who doesn’t? That’s the reason why we decided to make September ‘Seusstatic’ with our birthday theme pick.

  • Make sure you get inspired by the various totally magical characters. Who better than the ‘Cat in the Hat’ to take inspiration from Catch my Party.

  • Make sure your invitations reflect the Seuss Charm, you can check Etsy as there are lots of options available.
  • Don’t forget the most important element while you plan your child’s Seusstatic Day, make sure you use Seuss books as well just like Ringlein Remnants.
  • The Frosted Petticoat takes us through a beautiful Seussville Bonanza. The Cat in the Hat inspired Cake is beautiful… what say?
  • The Frosted Petticoat also shows us how to incorporate the Seuss effect in the birthday décor. I will leave you with the multiple pictures below. I especially love the Seuss Book Buntings

  • Triple M Good Parties shows how to incorporate the theme in one of the smallest but key ingredient of a birthday party… cupcakes.

  • Kerry Percy Photography takes us through yet another party on this theme. Love the Green Eggs and Ham used as a food item.
  • Seuss quotes can be used to decorate as well, just like Catch my Party

  • The food table should not be left if you decide on having a Seuss theme party, check out Pop Sugar Moms for ideas.
  • Surviving a Teacher’s Salary gives us a fun idea where you can make your very own Truffula Trees from Lorax. These would add a new dimension to your walls.
  • You sure need inspiration to keep those little ones busy, once they get free from admiring the fun décor. The ‘There’s a Wocket in My Pocket’ a Rhyming Scavenger Hunt, by This Reading Mama is the perfect pick.
  • Talking about activities, do not forget to have a Photo Booth. What more, Kidzui tells us how to make Seuss inspired Photo Props at home.
  • And I’m back talking about a blog I mention in all our party picks … Hostess with the Mostess. I love the polka dot return gift boxes with hat and fish tags and the wall filled with Cat in the Hat hats.
  • Etsy showcases how you can incorporate the theme to decorate bottles as well.

And since we are at Dr. Seuss, I think I should leave you with:

You're wrong as the deuce,
And you shouldn't rejoice
If you're calling him Seuss.
He pronounces it Soice
(as in Voice)
